Thanks so much for taking the time to visit our page.
We are Belinda and Graham (Blin & Gray), from the UK, now living in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa
For sixteen years, we were senior leaders in a church on the south coast of England. Without doubt, it was an amazing journey with some incredible people.
In 2019, we became increasingly aware that things were changing and a new story was emerging. We became convinced it was time for us (and others like us) to move out beyond our four walls and step into the world in which we live.
So we did.
We stepped out of Eastbourne and into God's bigger story.
A story we hope others will join.
where did it all begin?
In 2009, we were introduced to Tapiwa Chizana (Taps), both a pastor and accountant from Zimbabwe, and felt immediately connected.

In 2009, we were introduced to Tapiwa Chizana (Taps), both a pastor and accountant from Zimbabwe, and felt immediately connected.
Through an amazing financial legacy left by an elderly lady called Joan, we were able to forge a partnership, purchase 9 acres of land and build a child development centre in Trenance, a very poor area on the edge of Bulawayo
Good friends Dave & June completed the build and launched the Inkosi project with the Thembalasezwi Trust in 2013 and since then, in partnership with local support from the UK, over 200 children can access education.
Now, working in partnership with New Ground and Disciple Nations, We are supporting new initiatives alongside Inkosi, that are equipping and supporting the emerging generation of leaders.
to help stay in Zim, we applied for an Investors Licence, purchased a shelf company called SCRAGGY HILLS, and set up a business mentoring young people in business.
as well as working closely with Disciple Nations, we have also established Scraggy Hills Media
so what are we doing?
CHICKSTARTER is such an exciting new initiative.
We look to partner with business and churches in setting up new businesses in local schools, who become business hubs in their local community.
CHICKSTARTER donates the first 200 chicks and feed to the school along with a mentor programme for both teachers and students.

Alongside the poultry training and marketing skills, we also provide age appropriate discipleship.
To date, Belinda and her right hand woman Zoey, have launched eighteen projects in and around the Bulawayo area.
The business provides valuable additional resources for the schools and invaluable life lessons for the children.

In addition, we want to be developing the Inkosi Project in the Trenance area. After a complete recent refurbishment, the school is ready for the future...but what else could be developed on the site? We have access to nine acres and currently only using two.
We are currently developing prenatal and early year support for mothers and families as well as groups for teenagers including vocational training
And then there's local church.
As well as offering support to other churches like Hope City in Bulawayo with Taps, we are closely connected with the Base Community Church. A new church looking to grow small family groups that are home churches. They remain small, intimate and accountable to one another but at the same time, connected to something much bigger.
It's early days but a great new adventure.
Over recent months a number of people said they would love to be specifically praying for us. This is amazing and we are so grateful, as life in Zim is tough and without doubt we will be encountering conflict. If you feel you would like to be specifically praying for us (a little beyond the quick shout outs), we'd love to hear from you. Please send us an email and we'll be in touch...
From time to time, people ask about our personal finances and whether they can support us directly.
